Hers is one of the promotions we've all been waiting for, and we can say it did not come a day too late. Praise God for this great news: Shayla Sanchez joins the ranks of our INP's seasoned Senior photographers!

"You know, the whole day after I got promoted, I couldn’t contain my joy," she begins, recalling the night at the Big Group when she so happily received the promotion letter from Sir John Ong. Shayla, who is also one of the women photographers behind The Boudoir Dolls, had been faithfully serving as a junior photographer at INP for around two years until this most-awaited day. And everyone else was holding their breath at the news. The wait was indeed worth it.

"I was very happy, but not just because of the promotion," Shayla continues, "but because I felt that the Lord was really using me to leave His mark."

A few years back, Shayla thought she was being called to leave her job in Dubai so she could venture into a career wherein she could express herself even more, somewhere she could shine in and leave her own mark in the world. But finding Christ through photography, Shayla realizes, "it was all about leaving God's mark instead of just mine."

Shayla used to serve as a flight stewardess at an airline in Dubai. She enjoyed travelling the world and meeting so many interesting people, but the transient life left her thinking, "there has to be more to this."

Shayla stumbled upon photography as a hobby. The fun portrait shoots with friends fanned the newfound passion in her heart. One day, her best friend gave her a lens as a gift, along with a note that read, "I believe in you, Shy."

It was the encouragement that Shayla needed. "I think when someone believes in you that much, they must be seeing something in you that maybe you never had to the courage to see in yourself," she shares. And as soon as Shayla returned to the Philippines, she decided that she'd share with the world what she had begun to see in herself. Shayla took a basic course in photography, kept shooting for a year, and became an INP apprentice in 2010.

And the rest was the start of a whole new flight.

Here's how Shayla imprints God's love through her works.

"I love finding the beauty in my clients and in my surroundings, especially in those who are very shy and are intimidated by the camera, " Shayla bares her heart for her art, "I know everyone is beautiful and handsome in their own unique ways, and I get excited when the lens get to reflect the beauty I see in them."

With a heart like hers, a Senior promotion is simply just the beginning of a whole new adventure. INP is so proud to join Shayla Sanchez as she welcomes a wider horizon in her career of blessing more and more couples through her God-given gift.
