Their story proves that the best things do not come to those who wait, but to those who wait on God! Paul and Jenny Tan-Chi began their love story when they were young, but they did not go ahead and wrote the chapters themselves; the two waited. And sure enough, God gave them His best.

Paul met Jenny when they were in high school; Paul was a basketball player while Jenny was a cheerleader. At that time, the two were already interested in each other, but they did not make a move just yet since they both opted to focus on their studies first. Meanwhile, Paul and Jenny did not succumb to the pressures from their peers. They prayed, asking God to keep their lives pure and pleasing in His sight even as they wait for the right person. Until after a few years, God finally brought them back together! And this time with a love story that's sweeter than they had ever imagined. In 2003, Paul and Jenny got married--a wonderful prelude to the best things that are still to come.

Paul and Jenny's story is a clear reflection of one of the couple's favorite passages. In Psalm 37:4, it says, "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Now blessed with three lovely children, the Tan-Chi family are truly living a kind of abundant life reserved for those who love and trust Him.
