Prenup Lovin' at PNR: Rounding Up the Imagine Nation Prenup Marathon IILike how cool is it to be at an actual train station? It's dreamy, almost sentimental, like the feeling of going on a long trip with the one you love--arm in arm, through the tracks, into the sunset… ahhh, the works. And oh did we hype on all that mushy jazz last Saturday, October 13, when Imagine Nation Photography and our lovely couples went to the nostalgic Philippine National Railways (PNR) Tutuban Station for the Prenup Marathon II! With eight amazing INP photographers rockin the station with their unique prenup shoot concepts, you could bet our couples were really taken on an awesome ride.
It was an afternoon of prenup lovin'. Twenty three couples said 'Game!' to the fun, busy stretch, starting with the sign up and getting of their prenup marathon kits…
Each couple got this kit that contained their shoot checklist, a map to the whole place, and some surprise discount coupons from our awesome partner suppliers! Sweet sign-up treat indeed, and the shoot had not even started yet!
After they've registered, the bride-to-be's headed down to the glam department. The awesome talents of Girlie Uy, Jennifer Cutanda, and Jo Chan worked to get our girls prenup-ready.
Nothing like a stunningly sweet and simple look to put the 'pretty' on 'prenup'! Here are the artists with our ladies.
Meanwhile, out at the platforms (and under the God-blessed weather) were the INP Junior photographers with their fun, quirky, romantic motifs. Each couple got the chance to shoot with three photographers, with 10 minutes at each shoot (sets were chosen via draw lots, which made it even more exciting!)
Which way to your pre-nup stations?
The concepts were so unique, all creatively styled by the photographers themselves. Some went romantic, others went eccentric, but all the photographers kept their booths personalized just the same. It was as if the photographers were sharing with the couples an extension of who they are through the themes they put up. For an afternoon there, PNR looked like a crazy studio of sorts, everyone was running around and shooting like crazy. (We wouldn't call it a marathon for nothing.) But no sweat ruined that sunny stretch! Here are some snaps of what went on at the booths:
The couples became like rock stars for a day at the Rock Star Legend station with Jan Ray Bautista.
Vintage lovin' was what the couples shared down at Shayla Sanchez's Travel Through the Trails.
What can be cuter than our couples sharing a sip at this shabby Coffee Date by the Train set up by Madoka Kashiwazaki?
You know what they say about love in the movies? It's always sweeter off-cam. Here's Alex Ruelo and his Lights, Camera, Action theme.
Love goes fun and laid-back as Aika Guerrero inspires her couples to Love the Waiting.
It's all colors, spice, and indie antics down here with with Kim Lim and her Indie with Kimi motif.
The couples traded their fancy get-ups to be kick-ass Sweetheart Athletes with Jed Calara.
Say, 'Hello Yellow' as the couples fall in love with Larry Leong's Rain or Shine theme.
Now that was how we spelled FUN at the Prenup Marathon II! If you liked the behind-the-scene snaps, just wait till you see the shots by the juniors who rocked the event! You can visit their microsites to check out their blogs, but just to tease you with a little something, here are some peeks:
